Restaurants, Deli’s, Caterers, Bakeries, School Cafeterias, Sports Venues, Conventions Centers and other food service organizations are trusted by their guests to employ the utmost care in the delivery of their services. It is paramount for the protection of the public that the food service industry takes the initiative to develop and implement the policies, procedures and protocols insure their health and safety.
Spot Check’s Allergy Safe Training and Certification Program are designed to provide food service industry organizations low cost solutions to providing allergy safe products and services to their guests. These solutions make it possible for them to enhance the trust and create the lifetime loyalty of their food challenged customers.
Spot Check offers two ways for food service organizations to take advantage of the Allergy Safe Training and Certification Program. Individual clients can attend a training class where they will be trained by Spot Check authorized trainers in regional sites or they may opt for the train the trainer program. The train the trainer program allows businesses to select key personnel to be trained by Spot Check authorized trainers so they in turn, can train their own employees. Once trained each employee signs on to Spot Check’s 24 hour test site and completes the certification test. Those who successfully complete their certification test will receive their proof of Allergy Safe Certification card that is good for three years.
